Positive: In a good location in Hjørring. If you're looking for a night when transiting for the ferry, then this apartment is a viable option. With a few adjustments, it could be an exceptional place to stay. It is spacious, modern and has the minimal requirements if you would like to cook something and stay in. Parking is at the front of the building and access is via the steel stairs on the left side of the building. The city center is about a 10-15 minute walk away.
Negative: I've added a few photos, as photos don't lie. If you want to display yourself as Grand Luxury, then that is what you should be trying to achieve. The check in was not so simple. I had to contact the host which is a management company on the day of arrival as I had not received the pin for the key box. The email that was sent was a template and had no pin attached. Also, there were no instructions given, which you should potentially attach to the email to make the process easier. The entrance is on the left-hand side of the building and up the stairs to the top. The key box is located on the right of the door. If I had known this, it would have been much easier. When we entered the apartment, there was a bad odor which smelt like someone had just used the toilet or there was a sewage leak. Once aired, the smell did go, so someone must have been there and used the toilet before we arrived and not aired. We located a few other issues that could easily be rectified and that you would not expect in an establishment that calls itself Grand Luxury. They are as follows. A loose toilet seat, dirty toilet, mold in the shower, mold in the freezer, dirty range hood and filters. These are simple things a cleaner should be seeing and either reporting or fixing. There's also a detailed list of what to do when you leave, which is fine to a point. If you want the dishwasher to be run, then maybe supply some dishwasher tablets for people to use. Also taking out rubbish from the kitchen, which is easy enough as you pass the bins on the way out. But this begs the question here, would you really do this if you stayed in luxury accommodation? I think not. Probably should talk to your cleaner and fine-tune what they are doing, then this could be a cool place to stay.
Summary: Central, not to bad but Not Grand or Luxurious. Ok for a night
